Easy Video Design Update

So, I have been putting off this project for long enough and am about ready to release it. Any SlideShred Gold members are going to get access to the content for FREE! so be on the lookout for that! ;)

If you aren’t a SlideShred Gold member yet, get signed up because I’m going to have a lot of cool stuff coming soon.

Anyway, I had some unfortunate events transpire in the past week or so, including getting stabbed outside of a bar. Don’t worry, I’m o.k. A little knife wound can’t keep me down :)

So, I’m back working on Easy Video Design and the first video of the series of prelaunch videos will be available for SlideShred Gold members by the 15th when the monthly videos are released.

I hope you guys get a log out of this and start pumping out videos like there’s no tomorrow so, with that said, I’m really excited about this and just hope I can be of benefit to you!

Thanks for all your support!

Disney, Chuckee Cheese, and Facebook

I was thinking about how much fun my daughter has at Chuckee Cheese when it struck me that Chuckee Cheese uses a virtual currency. The kids come to Chuckee Cheese, and their parents buy them “tokens”. The kids spend the “tokens” playing games that give out tickets. These tickets can be cashed in for prizes.

So, this is essentially very similar to a new platform Facebook is going to be using soon. With Zynga overpowering the market with their hotter than hot Facebook games like Farmville, Cafe World, and Treasure Isle. Zynga is cashing in HUGE off of selling consumers VIRTUAL CURRENCY.

This is really cool because I have a website myself that deals similarly in virtual currency. Users sign up, and they can complete surveys in return for a certain type of gift card. (sorry, not outing my niche right now lol)

Anyway, I’ve noticed that this is a huge trend and if you can capitalize it even to a small degree, there is huge money to be made here. Facebook knows this, and is rolling out their own games to compete with Zynga’s that will soon make Facebook a powerhouse even moreso than it already is.

Another company I noticed using this technique is of course Disney. Now, besides the obvious similarities with the Chuckee Cheese model which most likely Disney invented, they have a virtual game of their own called Club Penguin.

This game is similar to the Facebook games, and you build up a house and decorate it with things so more of your friends will hang out with you in the game. I was actually looking for an affiliate program once I saw that you could buy Club Penguin money for X amount of dollars. But, there is none to be found. And, why should there be? Games like these go viral very fast and if you search for Club Penguin, you will see it is a crazy hot niche for young kids. Disney would rather keep all the money they make for their virtual currency, and it only makes sense.

Are you scamming your customers

A lot of people think internet marketing means, scamming. Let me explain…

I know my parents really don’t know what I do but I was glad the other day when my Dad became to come around.

You see, I talk to my parents about what I do as I do with anyone else. And I’ve told my Dad a lot of times that one-time-offers really work well for me.

He always used to just kind of stare blankly while I’m telling him about my subscribers signing up and then being taken to a one-time-offer.

But, the other day, he said “Hey Mark, I was on Facebook and an ad showed up for golf tips so I clicked on it.” He went on to tell me that the guy had really good information so he opted-in.

To his surprise, he was greeted with none other than a one-time-offer!

He told me he was really tempted to get it but decided against it until he had finished watching this “golf guru’s” 10 videos that he was supposed to get. He said, “I’m sure I can just use a different email to get to the one-time-offer again.” Which, most likely is correct.

But he said, “I just thought to myself, hey, this is what Mark does.”

So, I told him yea, I mean, information marketing isn’t about scamming people or trying to rip people off, but if you have a hot lead that is interested in a product, it’s a great way to get a customer in the door by offering them a one-time-offer.

That was pretty cool I thought because, before he was really skeptical all the time I talked about internet marketing.

And although a lot of my income comes from other sources such as CPA and offline clients, I do think that one-time-offers are one of the best ways to generate a consistant income online.

As internet marketers we are always seeing one-time-offers, promotions of this and that, and sometimes I think we take for granted that a good percentage of the population is not even aware that this kind of marketing is being done… until it happens to them.

Anyway, just something to think about.

I’m still working on my new product about creating your own profitable SlideShred videos and it should be done and ready to launch by June 1st.

Hit me up if you need any help with your marketing!

Mark
