Internet Marketing With Mark Sullivan

If you haven’t seen the new move Taken, do yourself a favor and go watch it. It is RAW! I’m talking about action from start to finish with some of the coldest scenes I’ve witnessed in a US film.

It reminded me a lot of John Woo’s movies like Hard Boiled and The Killer which are some of the best action films of all time in my opinion.

But, what really struck my interest was the affiliate marketing that was happening in the underground scene of the movie.

Let me explain..

The plot is about an ex-CIA agent’s daughter going overseas to travel around with the rock band U2. So, as soon as she gets off the plane she’s greeted by a local (the affiliate). This guy acts like he’s interested in her and her friend and tells them they should come to a party.

Her friend tells him where they are staying and says no one’s home… big mistake. So, he turns around makes a call on his cell phone.

No longer than 10 minutes later, the place they are staying at is being broke in by some goons coming to take the girls to sell them on the underground prostitute market.

Now, how much do you think the “affiliate” gets paid per woman he gets for the bad guys in the movie? $500? $1000?

I know this post may be a little unsettling but, these are the things that went through my mind while watching because I do a lot of affiliate marketing myself.

Also, you will be pleased to know that the girl’s father straight destroys these clowns’ operation from the bottom up.. He starts with the “affiliate” and wipes out everyone up to the “ad network” or the BIG spenders on the prostitute market.

You gotta see this movie, and just try to relate it to affiliate marketing, it’s an incredible watch.

Welcome to day 3 of my 30 Day Challenge To Add Massive Value! Today, I’m going to be discussing my favorite Internet marketing forum online and why it is SO valuable to IM’ers like myself.

If you are a veteran IM’er, you most likely will agree with me on this one…And, many “gurus” may be a little uneasy with what I’m about to expose but, it’s all real.

The Warrior Forum Is All You Need!

If you’ve been struggling to make money online, I strongly suggest getting an account set up at the Warrior Forum because that’s where the real money makers hang out, that’s where the incredible deals are, and that’s where you will get unbiased reviews of any program you may be thinking of joining.

Personally, I tend to just buy hot products without researching them like an idiot. For example, I recently got a message from someone on Twitter… (an auto message at that) Like “Hey thanks for following me, what do you think of this (url) I’m thinking of joining” It was someone’s Maverick Money Makers affiliate link.

Well, I was very impressed by the sales copy, and I really wanted to make 2.6 million dollars off of CPA offers (like it promises on the sales page) so I bought it.

After a few days of trying some of the techniques (and being mad cus there is practically NO info about CPA in the entire membership) I decided to do a little research at my favorite forum…

Lo and behold I found this post completely exposing Maverick Money Makers… Anyone know maverick money makers?

So, I was pretty salty when I found out that this “Mack” was actually “Chris” and had previously been involved with IncomeGreed which left a bad taste in a lot of Internet marketers mouths.

But, again I have The Warrior Forum to thank.

Also, Cynthia from IsItWorthTheMoney.com has probably the best review of the product as well since like me she actually bought it to check it out… and again, I found her through The Warrior Forum.

With that said, just go to the Warrior Forum right now! Get yourself an account and start interacting. If you have your own blog, that’s great! As long as you have your own domain, put it in your signature file as a link so when you post people come check out what you’re blogging about.

Ask questions that you really would like the answers to. Expert IM’ers are on there answering questions all day, so why not use that to your benefit?

If you see a post that interests you or that you think you would like to add your $.02 just do it. I guarantee you will see some traffic coming to your website from putting the link in your signature file.

I know my 30 Day Challenge To Add Massive Value is kinda jumping all over the place but, I’m really trying to give what I know and use personally. There are ways to make money online that I have no idea about, but there are others that I have mastered and these are what I share.

Let me break it down.

Twitter has quickly become the #1 online social network to let people know “What are you doing right now?” You have 160 characters to use in completing your answer, and by following others you can find out what they are doing right now.

Pretty simple.

Twitter is really making a name for itself, and there are some very easy, automated, and free ways to take advantage of this social network for traffic and sales…. check out this Alexa graph…

Getting Started Right With Twitter

1. Sign up for a free account at Twitter if you don’t have one. Give a short description of who you are (160 characters again). And, put your website where it tells you to!

2. Go over to TweetLater.com and sign up for a free account with them. Here you will be given the chance to set up a message that gets sent directly to every person that follows you automatically. (Put the link to your website or blog in the message and make SURE you include http:// so it’s clickable.)

3. Go to TweetDeck.com and download the free software TweetDeck. It is a very useful tool that allows you to seperate tweets that everyone can see, tweets repied to you, and direct messages. Believe me, you want to have this software once you get over a couple hundred followers! (Tweets = messages)

4. TweetMyBlog is the next free software I recommend getting installed but, it is ONLY for Wordpress blog owners. This valuable tool tweets FOR you whenever you post a new blog!

Massive Twitter Traffic

1. Follow people on Twitter! Don’t just follow anybody, but follow those who are interested in what you are interested in.

2. Don’t just tweet about things noone cares about. Try to tweet about things that spark interest.

3. That’s about it. Follow others as much as possible, and they will follow you back! On TweetLater there is also a function to autofollow anyone that follows you so, it’s pretty sweet, and totally easy.

Massive Action = Massive Results!

I was looking at Alex Jeffreys’ blog yesterday, and his post about “Guru’s Dream” caught my attention.

Now, I had JUST found out about Alex Jeffreys but, I already liked his material. I got his free List Building eBook from Dean Holland’s blog, and I found it helpful.

So, when I read about his free report “Guru’s Dream” I had to check it out.

All I can say is WOW…

My eyes were glued to my laptop screen for about an hour and a half!

Before I read I thought “Yea, free report, prolly about 20 minutes and 25 eBook pages.”

This “Guru Dreams” report was almost 10o pages! Not only that but, it wasn’t like half a paragraph and then start a new page.. no way. It was like straight content front to back with incredible insights into where the online market is heading.

After I read it, I was floored at what I had just read about blogs being like oil rigs attracting clams. (You gotta read this incredibly thought out and superb report)

I also felt like a complete IDIOT for not catching on to the trends and creating a blog a long time ago. Like I explained in my first post, I always looked at blogs like websites for people that can’t make one…

I completely overlooked the commenting platform blogs give users. But, you live and you learn…

I mean I’ve totally mastered other social networks like Myspace and Twitter for traffic but, why I was so anti-blog just is crazy to me now… lol

Anyway, Monday the 19th is my 25th birthday!

I’m going to start a 30 Day Challenge To Massive Blog Value to get my blog off to a rolling start. So, make sure you subscribe to my feed!

I’m going to be spilling my guts about everything I can think of that can add value to Internet Marketers within 30 days and most likely posting some free gifts as well.
